GTA 6 Leaks: DLC and Release Schedule

GTA 5 has become a fan-favorite among gamers, but fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the latest installment. Latest rumors suggest that GTA 6 may be launched during the 2024 holiday season.

Exciting news has surfaced in the gaming community regarding the development of the game. A trusted GTA insider with the username Tez2 on Reddit recently revealed that Rockstar is contemplating cutting a portion of the game during the development phase to avoid any delays in release.

According to a report by Versa.id on Dexerto, this implies that a part of the GTA 6 story may be cut and released as Downloadable Content (DLC). While this may come as a disappointment to some fans, it would ensure that the game releases on time.

Tez2 stated on Reddit that the expected launch date for GTA 6 is the 2024 holiday season, but he also cautioned that it could be postponed to early 2025.

He further claimed that an official announcement regarding the game’s release date will be made by Rockstar in 2023, but the exact date of the announcement is yet to be revealed.

It appears that Rockstar is taking a patient and strategic approach to building hype around the game. Despite the fact that GTA is one of the best-selling game franchises of all time, Rockstar is not in a hurry to release the next installment, as they want to ensure that it lives up to the expectations of their fans.

Nevertheless, rumors and leaks have been circulating about GTA 6, and many gamers are already aware that the game is currently in the development phase. In fact, a gameplay video for GTA 6 was leaked in 2022, and the number of leaked files has now reached 90 videos with a total size of 3GB.

However, it’s important to keep in mind that while GTA insiders may have leaked information regarding the release date of GTA 6, it’s not confirmed until Rockstar makes an official announcement.
